Student who raped his girlfriend to death, sentenced to death by hanging

A High Court sitting in Akure, Ondo state has sentenced to death the killer boyfriend Chukwudi Onweniwe of an HND student of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, Nifemi Adeyeoye to death by hanging. Chukwudi Onweniwe was dragged before the court in May 22 2017 on a four count charge of action endangering life, kidnapping and abduction, rape and murder. . According to the Prosecutor, Jumoke Ogunjebi said the accused person abducted the deceased and took her “to a farm near Alayere, Ogbese, raped her and then snuffed life out of her by choking and strangulating her to death. The police prosecutor, Inspector John Aderibigbe said that one of the motorcyclists who testified in the case reported the suspicious movement of the accused person and the deceased at the police station.  Aderibigbe said that the case was later transferred to Special Anti Cultism Squad in Akure. A group of frightened female students at the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) are heard in a video hoping help comes soon as they watch a man rummage through a line of clothes for what they believe might be their underwear.

Unknown to him, they watch him from their hostel as he makes his search through the glare of a CCTV camera

The day of the incident is on Saturday, November 24, 2018, from the time stamp on a television screen.
As the suspected thief move around hoping to complete his mission, the female undergraduates nurture hope of a timely response from security agents


the police force have issued out a statement concerning this case and the safety of the girls in the hostel while the university authorities are said to be trying their best in order to prevent such incident from repeating itself.   
the identity of the suspect was sent by an anonymous user claiming to know the individual in the video, as further investigations are going on to determine the authenticity of this information

A video was sent to us showing a driver harassing a student who was struggling to get on the bus, thus causing the student to act out, the student was jacked up and had his cloth torn by the bus driver causing other male students to stir up trouble as they were threatening to beat up the driver, but the stubborn driver started ranting that he was going to beat up everyone of them, then immediately struggle between the driver and another student who in return was also threatening the driver, things became ugly fast as people started trying to separate them from fighting as one of the student present started pulling the driver away from the angry students in order for them to calm down, following an old woman who also came to beg to students to leave the driver alone! #CampusVibe24 Full Video ⬇⬇⬇⬇ Follow Campusvibe24 ff more updates
