Student who raped his girlfriend to death, sentenced to death by hanging

A High Court sitting in Akure, Ondo state has sentenced to death the killer boyfriend Chukwudi Onweniwe of an HND student of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, Nifemi Adeyeoye to death by hanging. Chukwudi Onweniwe was dragged before the court in May 22 2017 on a four count charge of action endangering life, kidnapping and abduction, rape and murder. . According to the Prosecutor, Jumoke Ogunjebi said the accused person abducted the deceased and took her “to a farm near Alayere, Ogbese, raped her and then snuffed life out of her by choking and strangulating her to death. The police prosecutor, Inspector John Aderibigbe said that one of the motorcyclists who testified in the case reported the suspicious movement of the accused person and the deceased at the police station.  Aderibigbe said that the case was later transferred to Special Anti Cultism Squad in Akure. Expelled student sues university authorities for N10 million over damages

Mr. Olatinwo Phillip, an expelled student activist of the University of Ibadan has finalized his legal action against the university management.

Mr. Olatinwo Phillip finalized all ongoing Legal Consultation and proceeded to the Federal High Court, Ibadan to officially initiate a legal process to demand for his reinstatement as a Student of the University of Ibadan.




Earlier last year, on the basis of the findings of the aftermath of the Zik-Idia Fracas, Mr Olatinwo Phillip was expelled from the University, however, Mr Olatinwo Phillip maintained his innocence and wrote to the Governing Council, which still upheld the verdict.


Having exhausted all legally available machineries to resolve internal issues within the University of Ibadan, Mr. Olatinwo Phillip has decided to challenge his Expulsion in Court.

The University of Ibadan is expected to be served the Court Papers within the next 48hrs.


This impending legal battle gives hope to the thousands of Victimized students across all Nigerian Campuses.

Full video download✅ Approximately 9pm today at the university of Ilorin, an incident transpired between a bus driver and some students. A video was sent to us showing a driver harassing a student who was struggling to get on the bus, thus causing the student to act out, the student was jacked up and had his cloth torn by the bus driver causing other male students to stir up trouble as they were threatening to beat up the driver, but the stubborn driver started ranting that he was going to beat up everyone of them, then immediately struggle between the driver and another student who in return was also threatening the driver, things became ugly fast as people started trying to separate them from fighting as one of the student present started pulling the driver away from the angry students in order for them to calm down, following an old woman who also came to beg to students to leave the driver alone! #CampusVibe24 Full Video ⬇⬇⬇⬇ Follow Campusvibe24 ff more updates
