Student who raped his girlfriend to death, sentenced to death by hanging

A High Court sitting in Akure, Ondo state has sentenced to death the killer boyfriend Chukwudi Onweniwe of an HND student of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, Nifemi Adeyeoye to death by hanging. Chukwudi Onweniwe was dragged before the court in May 22 2017 on a four count charge of action endangering life, kidnapping and abduction, rape and murder. . According to the Prosecutor, Jumoke Ogunjebi said the accused person abducted the deceased and took her “to a farm near Alayere, Ogbese, raped her and then snuffed life out of her by choking and strangulating her to death. The police prosecutor, Inspector John Aderibigbe said that one of the motorcyclists who testified in the case reported the suspicious movement of the accused person and the deceased at the police station.  Aderibigbe said that the case was later transferred to Special Anti Cultism Squad in Akure. Femi Fani-Kayode Reacts To NBA & UNILORIN Student’s Hijab Controversy

The controversy surrounding the Nigeria Bar Association and the Unilorin student who was denied a call to Nigeria Bar has been generating controversy since two days now. Even the President of Nigeria Bar Association have waded into the controversy as promised that everything will be resolved as soon as possible.
The former Aviation Minister Chief Femi Fani-Kayode (SAN) has blamed the student in question Amasa Firdaus, who was denied ‘call to bar’ by officials of the Council of Legal Education (CLE) for failing to remove her veil, otherwise known as hijab.
Fani kayode said Firdaus was only being childish and disingenuous as Nigeria is a secular state and she cannot insist on wearing a religious garb during a secular ceremony. The former minster, while reacting via his Twitter handle said;

”The girl that insisted on wearing her hijab during her call to the Nigerian bar was being childish and disingenuous. ”You cannot insist on wearing religious garb during a secular ceremony and she is not the first Muslim to be called to the Nigerian bar. Nigeria is a secular state.”

Full video download✅ Approximately 9pm today at the university of Ilorin, an incident transpired between a bus driver and some students. A video was sent to us showing a driver harassing a student who was struggling to get on the bus, thus causing the student to act out, the student was jacked up and had his cloth torn by the bus driver causing other male students to stir up trouble as they were threatening to beat up the driver, but the stubborn driver started ranting that he was going to beat up everyone of them, then immediately struggle between the driver and another student who in return was also threatening the driver, things became ugly fast as people started trying to separate them from fighting as one of the student present started pulling the driver away from the angry students in order for them to calm down, following an old woman who also came to beg to students to leave the driver alone! #CampusVibe24 Full Video ⬇⬇⬇⬇ Follow Campusvibe24 ff more updates
