A High Court sitting in Akure, Ondo state has sentenced to death the killer boyfriend Chukwudi Onweniwe of an HND student of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, Nifemi Adeyeoye to death by hanging. Chukwudi Onweniwe was dragged before the court in May 22 2017 on a four count charge of action endangering life, kidnapping and abduction, rape and murder. . According to the Prosecutor, Jumoke Ogunjebi said the accused person abducted the deceased and took her “to a farm near Alayere, Ogbese, raped her and then snuffed life out of her by choking and strangulating her to death. The police prosecutor, Inspector John Aderibigbe said that one of the motorcyclists who testified in the case reported the suspicious movement of the accused person and the deceased at the police station.  Aderibigbe said that the case was later transferred to Special Anti Cultism Squad in Akure. How Idiaites Snubbed B-Red When He Came To Their Hall




When all is said and done, it seems being a star is not as glamorous as it seems.
The B-Red Campus tour that has been making waves for a while now finally set foot in the University of Ibadan yesterday for it’s long awaited show, which promised to feature Lil kesh and Wale Turner. 
The show which was supposed to start by 3pm sadly had little turnup as students boycotted it en masse. 
Sources say B-Red allegedly went round to the hostels to ginger people to come for the show, and when he arrived Idia, he was met with a disappointing response.
It was reported that the Queen Idia residents didn’t even bother to come downstairs from their rooms to acknowledge the “Superstar” in their compound. 
Sources also say that after the humilliating response, the Celebrity stormed out of that hall. 
News also has it that the show itself was extremely disappointing as students are calling B-Red a scam. 
This could probably be due to the allegation that one of B-red’s show promoter refused to pay a popular Ui favorite artiste – Wale Turner his show fee of 50k. 
The Promoter identified as Yomi Suave reportedly couldn’t pay Wale Turner’s fee, being that B-Red had left IBADAN with all the money gotten from the tickets sold for the show. 
His inability to pay prompted Wale Turner to allegedly snatch the Promoter’s keys and drive away with the Promoter’s car.
