Student who raped his girlfriend to death, sentenced to death by hanging

A High Court sitting in Akure, Ondo state has sentenced to death the killer boyfriend Chukwudi Onweniwe of an HND student of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, Nifemi Adeyeoye to death by hanging. Chukwudi Onweniwe was dragged before the court in May 22 2017 on a four count charge of action endangering life, kidnapping and abduction, rape and murder. . According to the Prosecutor, Jumoke Ogunjebi said the accused person abducted the deceased and took her “to a farm near Alayere, Ogbese, raped her and then snuffed life out of her by choking and strangulating her to death. The police prosecutor, Inspector John Aderibigbe said that one of the motorcyclists who testified in the case reported the suspicious movement of the accused person and the deceased at the police station.  Aderibigbe said that the case was later transferred to Special Anti Cultism Squad in Akure. UNILORIN student dies

After a successful completion of her final exams at the University of Ilorin, Taofeeqah Oloriegbe, 23, was reported dead five days to her convocation.


Oloriegbe who finished with second class (Upper Division) from the Department of Electrical Engineering died on Monday, October 16 died after a brief illness.
With sketchy details surrounding her death, Oloriegbe according to her friend was said to have complained of pain in her hand before she died.
The University's Public Relations Officer, Mr Kunle Akogun and the Student Union President, Mr Adebisi Abimbola have confirmed the demise of the student.
Abimbola said, “I became extremely sober when I heard of her death. We used to be in the same class. She was very jovial, friendly, liberal and decent."
In a similar event, a final year student of the Umar Musa Yaradu'a University in Katsina reportedly died of snakebite on Sunday, October 15, 2017.

A video was sent to us showing a driver harassing a student who was struggling to get on the bus, thus causing the student to act out, the student was jacked up and had his cloth torn by the bus driver causing other male students to stir up trouble as they were threatening to beat up the driver, but the stubborn driver started ranting that he was going to beat up everyone of them, then immediately struggle between the driver and another student who in return was also threatening the driver, things became ugly fast as people started trying to separate them from fighting as one of the student present started pulling the driver away from the angry students in order for them to calm down, following an old woman who also came to beg to students to leave the driver alone! #CampusVibe24 Full Video ⬇⬇⬇⬇ Follow Campusvibe24 ff more updates
