*📣Unilorin Senate Council faults SU Dinner; Suspends Social Secretary*📣 The Senate Council of the University of Ilorin has faulted the Students’ Union dinner/awards that took place on Friday, 20th May 2016 at the Multipurpose Hall of the university. This came up during the 10th sitting of the senate council which held on Saturday, 21st May 2016, at the Lecture Theatre 2 (LT 2). Not less than nine senators cutting across various faculties alleged that the Students’ Union Social secretary Com. Aondongushua Termeen Isaac a.k.a Ashosho fell short of expectation and perpetrated some punishable acts before and during the SU dinner/awards night. The Social Secretary was alleged to have decided to bring Funke Akindele a.k.a Jenifa as guest appearance for the dinner for an outrageous amount of five hundred thousand naira *(N500, 000),* despite knowing that she would just appear for few minutes, and after the Senate Council had earlier approved that YC should be the guest artiste for the dinne...

UNILORIN DINNER : It was an highly amazing & embarrassing way to end the poor train of social activities of UNILORIN as the SUG dinner and awards night that we all thought would be a compensation to what we saw at SUG cultural day, ended up looking like a yoruba movie with no actor.   We waited till around 11.30pm and I was like is this a CAC church vigil or what, and when we went inside people were scantily seated as the speakers of the unpopulated hall kept sounding like it's coming from a public school valedictory  service. I pitied people who bought regular tickets so much, most of them must have gathered their last cards just to epp their school but they were arranged like church members during Sunday school and all they could do was just stare from afar like footballers who just drank rain water. The people at the VIP were not left out, 3k for what? A bottle of wine and one chivita drink that tasted that diluted zobo. I pitied the musical and comic acts who kept look...

UIFDC The University of Ilorin bringing it hot the year with the UNIVERSITY INTER-FACULTY DANCE COMPETION As different faculties showed off there sophisticated dancing skills. As most would likely say that the faculties of "management sciences,sciences,engineering,social sciences and education" brought the heat to the event with there "A-Game" making them one of the best performers in the programme...   Others opinion may differ but,trust me this guys with brought the heat. all rounder the event was a hit "Back 2 Back" from the faculty of "Sciences to Engineering to Social sciences and say on...
